Worlds of Sound - Science and Music in Dialog
This climate concert brings together musical diversity and central topics of climate research. Scientists Yuting Wu and Johann Jungclaus provide insights into two key areas of climate science: computer-based modeling and observation using measuring instruments. Together, they will show how data collection and modeling work together to help unravel the mysteries of the climate system.
The lectures will be accompanied by an orchestra from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg under the direction of Thomas Dorsch, which will take the audience on a sonorous journey around the world.
In this interdisciplinary exchange, music and science bring climate change to life in a new and impressive way.
The event will be held in German.
